Springer Life Sciences Protocols now available online

Springer Protocols is the world’s largest database of life sciences protocols, outlining experimental methods in the life sciences, particularly molecular biology. We now have online access to the protocols published between 1980-2012, and you can print and download them. They are all individually listed by title on the Library catalogue, or you can search them here.
  • They provide written procedural methods in the design and implementation of experiments that describe the safety, bias, procedures, equipment, statistical methods, reporting, and troubleshooting standards to be used in order to successfully conduct the experiment.
  • Each protocol is templated into four sections - Introduction, Materials, Methods, Notes - so that information will always be exactly where you expect to find it.
  • Each protocol is a chapter of a book, and each book is a collection of protocols on a given research topic. The protocols are derived from 6 book series (listed below), plus 21 additional books outside of any series.
  • Methods in Molecular Biology (907 volumes)
  • Methods in Biotechnology (24 volumes)
  • Methods in Molecular Medicine (140 volumes)
  • Methods in Pharmacology and Toxicology (11 volumes)
  • Neuromethods (70 volumes)
  • 8 Springer Protocols Handbooks titles
